Fix a Price That Doesn't Match

How to use the Sync Center to find products where your price in FeedGraph, your store, or a platform like Google disagrees — and resolve the mismatch in one place.

Why price mismatches happen

Your product price lives in multiple places simultaneously: in your Shopify store, in FeedGraph's master catalog, and in the feed that Google Merchant Center is fetching. When a price changes in one place but not another, you end up with:

- Google showing a different price than your website — which Google can penalise by disapproving the product

- Your ad promoting an old sale price after the promotion has ended

- A customer clicking an ad for £29 and landing on a product page showing £39

The Sync Center keeps all of these in alignment by detecting mismatches before they cause problems.

Step 1: Open the Sync Center

Go to Sync Center from the menu. FeedGraph shows a list of detected mismatches — products where the price (or stock level, or title) in FeedGraph differs from what another connected system is reporting.

Step 2: Find the price mismatch

Filter the mismatch list to "Price" to see only price differences. Each row shows:

- The product name and ID

- The price in FeedGraph

- The price on your Shopify storefront

- The price Google most recently fetched from your feed

Step 3: Identify the correct value

Decide which price is correct. Usually this is one of:

- The Shopify price (if you updated it there and it hasn't synced to FeedGraph yet)

- The FeedGraph price (if you updated it there and the Shopify auto-push is pending)

- A third "intended" price that needs to be set everywhere

Step 4: Apply the correct value

Select the correct price and apply it. FeedGraph updates its master catalog and — depending on your sync settings — either immediately pushes to Shopify, queues a feed refresh for Google, or both.

Step 5: Confirm the fix

Once applied, the Sync Center should show no mismatch for that product. Google Merchant Center will pick up the corrected price on the next scheduled fetch (or you can trigger a manual re-fetch from GMC).

Preventing future mismatches

Enable FeedGraph's auto-push reconciler to keep Shopify and FeedGraph in sync continuously. Enable daily Bulk Operations reconcile to catch any drift that webhooks miss. Most price mismatches are eliminated by keeping both of these active.
