How it works

A feed is the list of products you send to a platform. Channel feeds is where you create and manage them — one for Google, one for Meta, one for ChatGPT Ads, or a custom output shaped however you need. Describe the feed you want in plain language ("all in-stock products over $20 with a photo") and FeedGraph selects the matching products and formats them correctly. Every export path blocks an empty feed and enforces a per-product validation floor, so an incomplete product cannot slip into a live channel. The ChatGPT Ads tab is labelled "feed file only", because FeedGraph builds and hosts that feed while you connect it in OpenAI's Ads Manager — the tab says so rather than letting you assume otherwise.

The problem

Every ad platform wants your products in a slightly different shape — different column names, different category taxonomies, different rules about image size and title length. Getting one wrong does not produce a helpful error; it produces a rejected product, or worse, an accepted product that quietly underperforms.

The usual workaround is a spreadsheet per channel, maintained by hand, drifting out of date from the moment it is saved.

How it works

01

Say which products, in plain language

Describe the feed you want — "all in-stock products over $20 with a photo" — or build the selection from attributes, or drop in a saved segment. The selection is a rule, not a snapshot, so it stays current.

02

FeedGraph maps the fields

Each platform has a mapping from your catalogue fields to the names and formats it expects, kept against the platform’s published spec — Google’s column names, Meta’s different ones, and OpenAI’s commerce schema for ChatGPT Ads, which shares almost none of them. You do not hand-map unless you want to.

03

Everything is validated before it leaves

Every product is checked against that platform’s requirements — including the extra fields its own category makes mandatory. Blocking problems keep a product out of the feed; warnings let it through but tell you it will underperform.

04

Export or publish

Download the file, or point the platform at a live URL that always reflects the current catalogue. An empty feed is blocked on every path, because publishing zero products is how a whole catalogue silently goes dark.

What you get

  • Validated feeds for Google Shopping and Meta Catalog
  • A validated ChatGPT Ads feed in OpenAI’s commerce schema, hosted at a live URL — labelled "feed file only", because you connect it in OpenAI’s Ads Manager
  • Custom output in any format, for a channel FeedGraph does not natively support
  • Scheduled delivery to your own HTTPS endpoint, hourly or daily, with every attempt logged
  • A per-product breakdown of exactly why anything was excluded
  • An empty-feed block and a per-product validation floor on every export path, including the API
  • The option to generate a valid-only feed, so one broken product cannot hold up the rest
What it does not do
  • Amazon and TikTok are not live output channels yet. Their field mappings exist and are documented in the schema library, but the channel is deliberately closed until the full path is ready.
  • ChatGPT Ads is a feed file, not a delivery. FeedGraph builds, validates and hosts it, and you connect the URL in OpenAI’s Ads Manager — there is no push to ChatGPT and no performance read-back, because OpenAI’s Ads API is restricted to partner accounts.
  • Delivery to your own endpoint is HTTPS only, and the endpoint has to be publicly reachable — SFTP and private-network destinations are not supported.
  • It does not create your campaigns. It gets clean product data into the platform; Google Ads Studio and Smart bidding are where campaign work happens.

Questions

Which channels can I publish to today?

FeedGraph delivers to Google (Merchant Center and Shopping) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram catalogues). For ChatGPT Ads it builds, validates and hosts the feed and you connect that URL in OpenAI’s Ads Manager. Plus a custom output you can shape into any format. Amazon and TikTok are next on the roadmap.

What stops a broken product reaching a live channel?

Two things. Every export path enforces a per-product validation floor, so a product missing a required field for that platform is held back rather than sent. And an empty feed is refused outright — if validation would exclude everything, you get an error rather than a file that takes your catalogue offline.

Does the feed update on its own?

Yes. Product selection is a rule rather than a fixed list, and the feed is built from your current catalogue, which Shopify sync keeps up to date through webhooks, hourly polling and a daily reconcile.
